5 Ways To Create Momentum Online
With all the noise going on is it any wonder why we’re sometimes prone to drowning out even our own voice? One of the keys to success in any business is learning how to create momentum. Momentum can be a tricky thing because if you’re not consistently aiming for new heights, the momentum you have today can quickly fade tomorrow. So, here are 5 things to help you keep the momentum going in your business.
- Go Back to the Drawing Board-Redefine your vision. Write it down. Why did you start your own business to begin with? Remember when you first opened the doors to your business? Look how far you’ve come since then? Now is a good time to redefine your WHY.
- Market Consistently-Providing your product stands on it’s own two, you can build visibility. Pay Per-Click, social media marketing, and SEO are great starting points. Even if you’re having a tough time at boosting your organic rankings, put a plan in place to keep pushing. The stars will align for you. They always do. Stay consistent.
- Start a Blog- Sooner rather than later, like yesterday. IMO a blog is the most effective way to reach your online audience. Why? Updating your website with fresh content on a weekly basis to appease the search engines and your audience. It’s really the only constant in search engine results. In a nutshell, you need a blog. Period. Even if you don’t think your business is that interesting, there is always a way to give an inside perspective for your products, because every product has a following. Any interest from a group of people has a following. Find it. Start blogging. Go where other people in your industry frequent online and find people with similar interests that are closely related to your niche.
- The Bottom Line- The cardinal sin. Some people have a tendency to mistake productivity with activity. If it doesn’t effect your bottom line, it’s not productivity. Cleaning your desk is a task, not productivity. Do that stuff in your spare time. It won’t effect your bottom line. Concentrate on honing in on your lead source, creating an email marketing campaign or invest in learning SEO or PPC. Bottom line focus.
- Duplicate You- Easier said than done, always is. But if you have a team (or even one person), it’s time to begin leveraging yourself. What aspects of your daily routine could someone else handle? Start out with the simple tasks you handle weekly. Things you know someone else regardless of their process., is capable of doing. You’d be amazed at how much more you can get done in a day if you could just learn how to duplicate you.
As Easy to Do as Not To Do
Each one of these steps are easy to do if you put a plan in place to do them. The problem is, they’re just as easy not to do. Stay uncomfortable my friends.
