Conversion Arsenal

Internet Marketing No Comments

Are you constantly looking for new ways to increase lead conversion? Sometimes new internet marketing strategies work, sometimes they don’t-at best it’s hit or miss. At the end of the day it’s all about adding value to maximize every possible angle to connect with every website visitor.

Recently we decided to implement a live chat segment throughout our site to give visitors another outlet to facilitate dialog. Much to my surprise the results have been awesome. We’ve only had instant chat on the site for a week and have already converted two clients. Funny thing is at first, I was a little hesitant about trying it out but the distinguished Premier Pixels team (yeah right) proved me wrong. Much to their delight of course.

So what’s the moral of the story?

The more balance you create in your ability to convert leads the better your chances of piquing the interest of potential clients. Here are 4 reasons Instant Chat could prove effective for your website.

1.) It’s Non Threatening- People can be finicky. Some people may not want to necessarily have a live conversation right off the bat. Everyone has their own little quirky process and this is a perfect non threatening approach to make them feel more comfortable in taking the next step of setting up a call or meeting.

2.) It Caters To Their Schedule- So what if the majority of visitors stop by during off hours? How much new business could you be missing? People are busy. Most of us don’t have enough hours in the day yet alone time to fire out a call during normal business hours. Your target customers are creatures of habit. Most consumers do their due diligence in their spare time which is usually in the evenings. Giving them the opportunity to contact you during off business hours will drive sales-guaranteed. Of course this all has to be done within reason. This doesn’t mean you should jump out of bed at 2am to start a conversation. Moderation my fined feathered friends.

3. Good First Impression- This piggy backs off #2. Sometimes the best message is the one left unsaid. When a lead contacts you through instant chat at say 10pm, they’re not really expecting you to respond and when you do-it impresses them. Now they won’t admit it but as long as a pleasurable chat proceeds, you’re showing them how much you care about helping them. There’s sort of this sub conscious effect that takes place without them even knowing it. This can make all the difference when they shop your products and services to your competitors. They will remember. You gave them their undivided attention on Tuesday night at 10pm. Deep down they appreciate it. People would rather give their business to someone who is genuinely interested in helping them find what they’re looking for.

Hopefully, all or one of these reasons struck a nerve with you because the more outlets you provide, the more it increases your chances to consistently land new business.  But keep in mind-not everything is for every entrepreneur. Hopefully this is one more tool to add to the conversion arsenal. Thanks and have a great day!!
