One Hat Fits All-Part 1
Top of the morning from Premier Pixels Las Vegas web design headquarters. There are so many elements involved in running a business from day to day. What is the definition of a successful business? A profitable business is built to operate on its own. This means you can leave for a few days and return to a business that is still running on all cylinders while you’re gone. Most people reading this will say “yeah right; there’s no way i could leave my biz for a week or two or things would fall apart.” Or “if i want something done right, i have to do it myself.” Very true but the cold hard reality is if your business can’t run efficiently on it’s own for a small time it’s not really a business, it’s a job. This is the difference between running a business versus a business running you. Of course it’s easier said than done. It takes time building it to where it runs self sufficiently.
Today’s Las Vegas web design blog topic is more about principles rather than technique. Quite frankly this subject matter is far too extensive to expand on in one posting; so we decided to make this a 3 part series to give it the proper time it deserves and really expand upon the dynamics of ‘One Hat Fits All.’ The purpose of the title is to show the power of consolidating balance within your infrastructure. There are 2 fundamental ingredients for any business to thrive long term; leadership (duplicate yourself) and leverage (technology). Both go hand in hand and one won’t exist without the other. The secret is to build them both simultaneously. Heres why…….
Building Leaders-Our Premier Pixels Las Vegas web design team is extremely fortunate to have a such a diverse group of self starters who flourish in their own rite. It took a lot of blood, sweat and tears to find such a dynamic group. As a leader you must be able to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each individual. Find out what each person is particularly good at and then put them in a position where those strengths become virtues for your day to day operations. Not only does this give the whole team purpose but it also gives each person a sense of self importance which if done properly makes them more productive. Of course this doesn’t mean you should micromanage everyone else while you stand on the sidelines. Thats far from leadership and you’d be amazed at how quickly your team will pick on that. Believe it or not your team is more inquisitive than you. Collectively they have more eyes watching and it will become painfully obvious if you begin micro managing. It takes the morale out of the team and can really cause problems even to the point of being irreversible.
Without leadership, there is no duplication, without duplication you will be pulled in 10 different directions. On the flip side, in time proper leadership can and will start to take on a life of it’s own. You will be amazed at what you can accomplish. That my friends is the power of duplication. The more you duplicate the more you grow. The more you grow the more revenue grows.
