How To Effectively Market Your Business

Internet Marketing No Comments

Any large scale business does the bulk of their marketing offline, mostly through conventional advertising platforms such as radio and television. It’s a part of taking the consumer through what’s called the purchasing cycle. Their entire strategy is based on planting a seed in hopes that the consumer will take note and visit their website at a later time (hopefully shortly after the ad airs).

Striking A Chord

People are more inclined to purchase from you after they’ve done their homework. It’s a comfort thing. It gives them peace of mind knowing they’ve checked you out online, learned what you’re about and why they should give you their business instead of your competitors.

The whole idea behind effective marketing is to strike a chord with your audience. That’s it. Applying this approach will allow you to keep your advertising simple yet effective. Whether this includes literature or newspaper ads, the only way to build a rapport is striking a chord in hopes they’ll remember you when they decide to become a customer.

Your Website’s Role

Whether you know it or not, offline advertising goes hand in hand with driving online business. Your website is an extension of your brand’s personality. It legitimizes you. Here’s why. Whether you know it or not, a purchasing decision is made long before an actual business transaction takes place. The moment an online visitor decides to make an inquiry, they’ve decided they’re interested in purchasing from you. All you have to do is listen to their needs and explain how your products/services can fill those needs.

Internet marketing/SEO

Okay, so i couldn’t sign off without giving you the painfully obvious. Keep in mind there’s a strong possibility our opinion at Premier Pixels Las Vegas web design (“SHAMELESS PLUG”!!!) headquarters is a little bias. IMO-Internet marketing and search engine optimization are absolutely the MOST effective way to grow a business. When the right game plan is put into motion (a well balanced diet of seo, ppc, and social media), the impact will be self evident. It’s also the most cost effective way for a company to create marketing traction in their niche because the entire approach revolves around piquing the interest of people already looking for your services. (HINT).

A New Shift in Thinking

Most successful entrepreneurs might disagree with me (“respectfully” of course). Most would tell you to concentrate on the brick and mortar (face to face) aspect of your business first by using offline advertising as a means of strengthening the online aspect of your business. The problem with that approach is it’s out dated (and fast becoming extinct). The new “brick and mortar” is INBOUND MARKETING. Concentrate on building the online aspect first. The benefits far outweigh the downside. Stay uncomfortable my friends.
