SHOCKING! The Online Graveyard Epidemic
Do you know what lies behind every failed business venture? A cyberspace graveyard full of businesses that didn’t make the cut. Some go months-even years without a dollar to show because behind every deep dark hole of overlooked opportunity is a cemetery of ‘websites gone bad’ (sounds like a cool name for a new show hmm…..ideas anyone?)
Okay now the million dollar question (literally)
- A website is a powerful tool to build out your dream so why do most start ups put it on the back burner?
- Are they part of the old school mentality still stuck in their ways?
- Did “they” assume they didn’t need their online vertical to be successful?
Who knows. But It’s ironic that someone would take this approach knowing the odds are already stacked against them from jump street. Why would anyone stack them even higher by not setting their website up for visibility?
If a Website Isn’t Growing It’s Dying
One of my mentors (having more than one is a blessing) always says “if you’re not growing you’re dying.” Its that simple. As an seo company, we assume you know that. But amazingly we do make ASSes out of ourselves every now and again. Selling seo is not my business. EDUCATING is. The best seo companies don’t convince-we sort. It’s not a matter of conveying the value of our marketing expertise but rather painting a picture for you to understand the importance of online visibility. That’s it. We lead you to the water.

If you’re reading this and already thinking “this guy is a dick” then sorry. The reality is business is a harsh place to exist. I’ve never been one to bite my tongue so there it is. It’s a jungle out there and everybody wants to win. So like any great coach, there’s no choice but to give it to you bluntly. The irony is YOU already know you’ve put marketing your website on the sidelines long enough. (hint! its time to get in the game).
