Premier Pixels Las Vegas website design team are big believers in Google Maps. It’s a direct hit for your business-plain and simple. Here’s why; even two or three years ago search inquiries were much more generic in terms of being location specific. Let’s say a home owner from Las Vegas was looking to have a deck built on their house. Here’s an example of general comparison from then (only seems like yesterday) to now
Jan 2007- “Deck builders Nevada”
Nov 2010-“Deck building companies in Summerlin Las Vegas”
You see the difference? Location trends are becoming a much more integral part of search engine relevance. Studies now show the average internet consumer is becoming much more sophisticated (from a location standpoint) in the methods in which they seek out products to purchase online.
Even more amazingly is most business owners are not taking advantage of Google Maps as a tool to leverage their visibility. Google Maps gives the user something tangible to look at and ultimately identify with. This creates a sub-conscious relationship between you and them because of the location of your business. Providing your prices are competitive you automatically have a better chance of landing their business simply because they would rather do business with someone closer to their home than further away; makes sense-RIGHT?
