The Right Reasons….
Good morning from our Las Vegas web design headquarters. On my way to the office this morning it dawned on me how much I love my role at Premier Pixels. I say ‘my role’ because I don’t consider what I do a job. It’s a passion. To lend other business owners our insight and give them a real chance at success is nothing short of a blessing (this isn’t a sales pitch). In this vast land of opportunity, building a viable, thriving business is part of the american dream; isn’t it?
Our team sees new business concepts from up and coming movers and shakers all the time. Some more far fetched than others, but all with intentions of accomplishing big dreams. See, anyone can start a business, but theres a distinct difference between starting a new venture for the sole purpose of making money as opposed to pursuing your passion. Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki’s co wrote a book called “Why We Want You To Be Rich.” Its an exceptional read for any person looking to pursue their dreams of becoming financially independent and I highly recommend it. Suffice to say these guys know a thing or two about building wealth. One of the strongest points conveyed in the book is this-if you’re starting a business for the sole purpose of making money, you are doing it for the wrong reasons and more often than not, you will probably fail. So, what’s the right reasons?
Don’t get us wrong, money is an obvious motivator to start a business but even more important than the money is happiness and loving the game you play. There are countless people in the world who measure success through money. In fact, the world is filled with financially successful people who are unhappy. So what’s my point?
Simple; love the game first-In the book they emphasize the importance of loving the game. In a nutshell, the money you earn is merely a measurement of how much you love the game. The more you love the game, the more money you’ll make. Your love for the game will equate into financial reward. In other words, money shouldn’t be the primary factor.
Our Las Vegas web design and internet marketing team loves the game of helping businesses succeed. Sure, there are challenges. Sure there are obstacles. Sure there are good days and bad days, but the love for what we do overcomes any opposition we might face. The same should be applied to you!
