2-massive numbers-if you implement email marketing; you’d better play the numbers game on a massive scale. The fact is most emails will never even be opened by your prospects. So unless you’re sending tens of thousands at a time; you’re really defeating the purpose.

The fact is it’s a VERY broad way to target potential customers. Most times people never even requested information about your products or services which means they’re not even in the market looking for what you’re selling. Add this to reason one and two and you can begin to see why email marketing is less and less effective.
4. consider the source-we would be remiss if we didn’t ask where you’re acquiring the email list from. Who is the company you’re purchasing email lists from? Unfortunately unsubstantiated email marketing lists come a dime a dozen. This leads to dealing with shady companies who promise the world but never deliver. You may spend hundreds to thousands of dollars without any means to recoup ROI because the comany you dealt with was shady from the start. Most of these email lists are sold off hype versus anything else; so BEWARE.
