Short Sightedness
Good morning from Premier Pixels Las Vegas web design HQ. This morning we received an interesting call from a president of a very successful company. Some months back he approached us in regards to launching a highly targeted national S.E.O. campaign. Him and his partners were already light years ahead of competition in the Vegas area. Needless to say business was good but could be even bigger and better. They had several offices in other metropolitan areas around the country and wanted to expand localized marketing to drive revenue to the next level. Annual revenues were in eight-figure territory and growing. As good business men it seemed logical to spread their wings. They heard of us from a mutual associate and approached us to devise a plan of action.
We put our best foot forward a long with our most talented S.E.O. minds to figure out a plan to accomplish their goals. Naturally as business goes they had another company (who will remain anonymous out of professional courtesy, we aren’t here to bash) run a proposal to match and compare quotes and strategy. The problem was the other company didn’t understand the scope of what the client wanted accomplished. Not only were the objectives misunderstood but they quoted an open-ended hourly rate as opposed to our flat monthly costs. To make a long story short they decided to go with the other company. We aren’t in the business of slandering competition so there was never a huge fuss on our end. Our Las Vegas web design and internet marketing company’s body of work and expertise speaks for itself. We respected their decision and wished them the best of luck.
Wouldn’t you know six months later they came calling. They had already paid over a thousand billable hours to the other company and felt as if they were on a completely different page. The line of communication was in disarray and even worse, there were no results to show. They retained our services just this morning. We quoted the same exact price as before. Ready for this? With the amount already paid out to the other company they would’ve already accomplished their objectives with us and would’ve paid less than what was already spent. Not only that but most likely they would’ve already been half way to making back their R.O.I.
CAN YOU SAY “INSULT TO INJURY?”
The point is Premier Pixels Las Vegas web design and internet marketing team is successful because not only do we deliver results, but our prices are absolutely as competitive as you will find for the quality of work we provide. We understand you work hard to turn a profit so there is a sense obligation to keep pricing fair. While we don’t believe in over charging we stand by our work. In other words you always get what you pay for. We aren’t an amateurish company.
Typically if pricing is first priority for a potential client we will respectfully decline the project. In this case the partners were short sighted and it ultimately costs them twice as much to accomplish their objective. We all make mistakes. They thought they were doing the right thing for their respective company. A good business person knows their is value in getting it done right the first time around. The moral of the story is being shortsighted can be an expensive habit. Thanks and have a great day!!
